| A New York grand jury indicted Harvey Weinstein, who was rushed to the hospital earlier this week for heart surgery and did not appear in court, on new charges that are under seal. The indictment comes after Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction was overturned in April by the New York Court of Appeals, which ruled that the judge should not have allowed certain witnesses to testify. Weinstein, 72, is also convicted of similar charges in Los Angeles. |
