Latest Covid-19 figures

The highest daily death toll has been announced in Scotland since May 6.

Sixty four people were recorded to have died in connection with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. It comes as 1,261 new cases were also confirmed. 

The public has been urged to stick to the coronavirus rules in light of this troubling development.

NHS prepping for mass vaccinations from December 

The NHS is preparing to launch a major coronavirus vaccination program to begin on December 1. 

It comes after news this week a vaccine for the virus has been found to be 90 per cent effective

The UK Government wants to reach a vaccination capacity of one million a week, it has said.
