The House will post roughly 40,000 hours of security footage from Jan. 6 online for public access, Speaker Mike Johnson said. All of the footage has already been released to media outlets. Footage that shows “sensitive security information or information that would lead to retaliation of private citizen” will not be released, Johnson said. The House Administration committee is posting 90 hours on Friday and will make the rest public in the next few months, a senior congressional aide said. |
