  The storm, packing sustained winds of 120 mph, could dump up to three feet of rain in some areas over the next week. If it keeps its Category 3 status through its predicted late Friday or early Saturday landfall near Corpus Christi, Harvey will be the strongest hurricane to hit the U.S. in 12 years, when Hurricane Wilma barreled into Florida in October 2005.
