BREAKING: Johnson & Johnson applies for emergency use of single-shot vaccine; FDA authorization expected within weeks

Pharmaceutical company Johnson and Johnson submitted an application to the Food and Drug Administration on Thursday for emergency use authorization for its Covid-19 vaccine.

The FDA could grant the authorization within weeks, giving the U.S. a third vaccine. Johnson and Johnson has said it expects to supply 100 million doses to the U.S. by June.
