A Virginia man was arrested on Friday at a checkpoint along the security perimeter surrounding downtown Washington, D.C. An unregistered gun and hundreds of rounds of ammunition were found inside the truck adorned with gun decals days ahead of President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration, according to Capitol Police.

He presented a credential that officials say was unauthorized, but did not describe what sort of document he showed that raised suspicion.
