An investigation into the New Orleans terror attack on New Year's Day revealed the driver visited the Louisiana city weeks before the attack and recorded video of the area using Meta smart glasses.

Shamsud-Din Jabbar also wore the Meta glasses during the attack, but they were not activated for a livestream, FBI Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil said.
