Judge dismisses corruption case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams

The US Justice Department on February 10, 2025 ordered federal prosecutors to drop corruption charges against Democratic New York Mayor Eric Adams, US media reported. "You are directed, as authorized by the Attorney General, to dismiss the pending charges in United States v. Adams," said the department memo obtained by the New York Times and CNN.

U.S. District Judge Dale Ho dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning the charges cannot be refiled at a later date.
