Dallas Police Officers Michael Krol and Patrick Zamarripa were identified as two of the five police officers shot to death Thursday night by a sniper during a protest rally. Krol, 40, had been with the department since 2007. Zamarripa, 32, reportedly had served three tours in Iraq with the Navy, and leaves a wife and 2-year-old daughter.
