BREAKING NEWS: June Durable Goods Orders Plunge 4%

The Commerce Department reports durable goods orders plunged 4% in June from the prior month, coming in higher than the estimate for a decline of 1.1%. Take out the transportation component and orders fell 0.5%. The estimate was for that part to increase by 0.3%.
