The Macau SAR gaming sector has reported almost MOP3.6 billion (US$455.1 million) in March of this year, the lowest monthly tally since September, 2020 when only MOP2.2 billion in gaming results was reported.

The results also represent a sudden 52.6 per cent drop from the previous month as the pandemic situation in mainland China and the neighbouring regions deteriorated to its worst levels since the pandemic outbreak two years ago.
