The First Minister has given an update on the situation with Scottish schools today, and announced current lockdown measures are set to stay in place until the end of the month.

A phased return to school

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced that, while the closure of school premises was ‘unfortunately necessary’, a phased return can start from later in the month.

 A full time return for early child care, and primary one to three, and a part time return for senior pupils for the completion of national exams will happen near the end of February.
