'I am, and will always be, truly sorry'

Those were the words of the First Minister as she apologised for any mistakes the Scottish Government made in handling the coronavirus pandemic.

"None of the people who have died are statistics," said Nicola Sturgeon as she reflected on the UK death toll rising above 100,000 people.

Scottish cases continue to rise

For Scotland, there have been a further 92 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours in connection with Covid-19.

And cases continue to climb despite the lockdown, with more than 1,300 recorded in the same time period.
