Scot coronavirus deaths rise by 64

There have been 64 more coronavirus deaths and 1,707 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, the First Minister announced this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the number of people in hospital being treated for the virus is also on the rise.

'You're not alone with how you are feeling right now'

Those were the words of Nicola Sturgeon as she led a mental health-focused coronavirus briefing this afternoon.

"We all have to look out for each other and help each other," she said, announcing a helpline which will direct people to the services they need - whether that be for mental health, food, of information.
