| BREAKING: Pelosi forced to delay infrastructure bill vote following internal Democratic clash |
| House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday delayed a much-anticipated vote on the Senate-passed bipartisan infrastructure bill after President Joe Biden sided with the progressive wing of his party, which was threatening to block the legislation. Democratic moderates wanted to pass the $550 billion infrastructure bill quickly, while progressive lawmakers said they wanted to see movement on bigger legislation to bolster the safety net first. |
