Yellow weather warning this morning

Snow and ice hit the country overnight, and the Met Office has placed a warning for the east coast and central Scotland throughout the morning.

We'll see highs of a chilly 3 degrees Celsius today and it could feel about -2C outside, according to the experts. Stay safe out there, everyone.

It may be very different to normal years, but Hogmanay promises to be special in Edinburgh this year with a series of virtual events, starting today.

Drones will take to the skies above The Capital in orchestrated displays set to a new poem encapsulating Scotland's 2020 and read out by the likes of David Tennant and Lorne MacFadyen.
