Six more Covid-19 deaths A further 717 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Scotland in the last 24 hours, and six more people have sadly died after testing positive for the virus. The latest figures were revealed by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon this afternoon, who said: "Things are not getting worse in Scotland...we are actually seeing a stablisation". It's hoped the new facility will be able to increase the daily testing capacity in the UK by 300,000, and should be opening early next year. Second Covid vaccine is more than 90 per cent effective A second potential Covid-19 vaccine has reported very high efficacy levels in early trials.
