The special counsel who secured a conviction after filing charges against Hunter Biden blasted the president over his criticism of the prosecution, saying such actions "undermine the public’s confidence in our criminal justice system."

Special counsel David Weiss said in a new report that Biden's characterization of the prosecution as a "miscarriage of justice" had maligned "the public servants at the Department of Justice based solely on false accusations."
