President-elect Donald Trump says he plans to nominate TV personality Mehmet Oz as the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Oz, the celebrity doctor who unsuccessfully ran for Senate in 2022, has been criticized for years for promoting misleading and false claims about health and science.
