Latest Covid-19 figures 

There have been 832 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 32 people have died, according to the latest figures released by Nicola Sturgeon today.

It means there have been more than 300 covid-related deaths in the last three weeks.

Major changes to the tier system

Most areas in Scotland are now to be placed under Level 3 coronavirus restrictions, the First Minister announced this lunchtime. 

In light of a 'particularly sharp' increase in cases, Fife, Perth & Kinross and Angus will all be moved up to Level 3 restrictions from Friday.
