Summer wildfires in the United State and Canada are becoming bigger and more frequent.

The reach of wildfire smoke is surprisingly vast. Although wildfires may be thousands of miles away, global wind currents blow smoke for hundreds of miles across the upper atmosphere and spread airborne pollutants for hundreds of miles in every direction, to the other side of the world. 

Wildfire smoke can be harmful to everyone's health even at low concentrations.
