A view from the hillside near the mainside pools overlooks Harbin Hot Springs below and off into the distant valley and hills. The sky is vibrant blue with a bright sunshine and the land below is earthy shades of darker greens and autumn oranges. Construction of the new restaurant can be seen at the bottom of the photo with a wood structure and construction vehicles.

Fall into Earth's Embrace

Bright colors of summer fade into golden shades of autumn as the sun moves lower to the horizon, casting its warm glow across the canyon. As the seasons change, consciousness shifts a bit too. Do you feel it?

Trees gently shake off their worn leaves to be ready for new growth. Imagine gently shaking away any tension and stress you may have carried throughout the year. Allow your worn leaves to gently drift away. Let go and then let gravity encompass you, pulling you into earth's embrace. Breathe. Relax in this present moment. The earth will hold you.

With 3000+ acres of meadows, hills, canyons, and creeks - we have plenty of space for you to shake off your leaves. Experience nurturing water, fresh air, expansive views, and the spirit of this land.

Rebuilding News & Updates:

The Harbin Restaurant

Designed by Sonoma County's Lars Langberg Architects, the new restaurant construction has begun. Magnificently facing east to welcome the rising sun, the restaurant is designed to provide a hub where all can gather, whether you're there for a meal with friends or simply want to sit indoors and read with a cup of tea. Open 24 hours a day, the space will offer air conditioning for the hot season and a cozy space to come indoors in the winter. We'll offer a coffee bar and basic amenities like ice and hot water, along with Harbin's delicious recipes and meals. The building even includes a backup generator so it can remain open during power outages.

Fern Dressing Room & Steam Sauna

Great works of art take time and seeing Harbin's talented team of artisans come together creating Fern is worth the wait. Whether locating the perfect materials to finish the job or adding meticulously crafted final touches - art and magic come alive through creations from the heart which will last far, far into the future for generations to enjoy. As throughout our history, it's the thoughtfully expressed artistic visions that make Harbin so unique.

Decorative tiled wall and natural colored tile floor for the new dressing room and shower area.

Solar Tiltport

We are excited to announce the launch of the installation of a solar Scarlet TiltPort system in the Reception parking lot. This marks a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint while harnessing the sun's abundant energy.

So much beautiful progress! Yet so much more work to be done. Your support is invaluable to our rebuilding efforts. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and will help us continue to bring our vision to life to fully restore Harbin's facilities and guest services.

Harbin ECOFARM

As we announced earlier in the year, we received a grant from the California Department of Food and Agriculture’s Office of Environmental Farm and Innovation. We are building road access now, and power will be available on the land in Spring. For the winter, we're planting wildflowers and red clover for healthy soil.

2025 Ministers' Ordination Training

Restoring the many aspects of Harbin we knew and loved from before the devastating fire takes more than constructing buildings. As you've seen, our Events Calendar is growing each month. And after years of planning, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Heart Consciousness Church, we are happy to announce the reemergence of our Ministers' Ordination Training.

Led by Head Minister R.Lane Hairston and Spiritual Director Lia Findley Jennings, we offer the chance to members and staff to dive deeply into Heart Consciousness. This is a year long program with classes taught by Harbin Ministers whose names and faces we are certain you will be glad to reconnect with, as we explore Oneness.

Please email info@harbin.org for more information if you are interested in participating in the 2025 Ministers' Ordination Training.

We're working hard to rebuild our facilities while providing a space to experience and practice Heart Consciousness. While we are not a church in the traditional sense of buildings, congregation, and dogma, HCC is the practical, living embodiment of Oneness, a New Age perspective that weaves together the common threads from the Human Potential Movement, the Natural Holistic Movement, and Universal Spirituality. At Harbin we refer to all of this, together, as “Heart Consciousness”.

We invite you to gently shake off your worn leaves this season with a nurturing visit to Harbin and come practice Heart Consciousness with us. Together, we can learn and grow new leaves for the future.

Thank you for being on this journey with us! We hope to see you soon.
