Commissioned by the NYTimes, the Emmy nominated docuseries “Almost Famous” is available nationwide through Breck Film’s virtual streaming platform Tuesday, February 9 – Sunday, February 14. The shorts share the best stories you’ve never heard — from Ed Dwight, the man who was almost the first Black Astronaut to Kim Hill, the original female vocalist of the Black Eyed Peas — director, Ben Proudfoot of Breakwater Studios captures unique moments in history that were shifted by prejudice, sexism or just sheer bad luck.

 

Better yet, Proudfoot and Hill will participate in a live Q&A online, Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30pm MST during which viewers are encouraged to ask their own questions.
