The following public holidays are scheduled over the coming Christmas/New Year period. 

Christmas Public Holidays:

Sunday 25 December, Monday 26 December and Tuesday 27 December

As Christmas Day is on a Sunday, the day after Monday’s annual boxing day public holiday (Tuesday) has been declared a substitute public holiday.

New Year’s Public Holiday:

Sunday 1 January & Monday 2 January

As New Year's Day is on a Sunday, the day after (Monday) has been declared a substitute public holiday.
