Re: thinking workforce solutions to successfully recruit and support Neurodivergent employees and people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

This event focuses on providing employers with additional staff recruitment avenues and strategies to support staff in the workplace. Specialist speakers provide useful insights on programs that provide employers with funding, on-the-job assistance and staff matching to support your business.

This session will address how to successfully accommodate workers who are either neurodivergent (including dyslexia, traumatic brain injury, rehabilitated employees) or CALD community members whose qualifications are not formally recognised in Australian workplaces.

$5000 grants are available to assist manufacturing businesses to adapt and improve their use of digital technology via the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program.  The program funds the enrolment of a manager into a part-time 12-week online digital skills course covering the following concepts.

  • Process optimisation
  • Simulation (digital twinning)
  • Artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Machine vision
  • Cyber security

The State Government is addressing skills gaps in the workforce of priority sectors by funding the development and trial of new short courses via the Skills Solutions Partnerships (SSP) program.

Expressions of interest (EOI) for the program are now open for business and industry to co-design innovative training programs with education and training providers.
