This has led to a lack of ideological diversity and a culture of rent-seeking and status-seeking.

Bitcoin, however, is decentralized and its community is fiercely protective of its beliefs, rejecting any attempts to co-opt it for personal gain. But beyond that, Bitcoin allows us to escape the allure of fiat gains, develop a lower time preference and maximize our existence in the present.

BitPay Announces Partnership With MoonPay, Removes Bitcoin Trading Fees For Limited Time

BitPay and MoonPay have partnered to offer users increased ways to purchase bitcoin with their preferred payment methods, including credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local bank transfers.

Along with the partnership, for a limited time, users will be able to purchase bitcoin with no fees. 

The partnership, according to the release, will provide users with greater variety and speed of delivery. While exchanges that expose users to altcoins are not ideal, it is a positive development to see easier access to purchasing bitcoin.

⚡️ Clover And Lightning

POS Giant Clover Teams Up With Strike To Bring Bitcoin’s Lightning Network To Millions Of Merchants

Strike CEO Jack Mallers has announced that Strike is now an integrated partner with payments giant Fiserv, allowing merchants to accept Bitcoin over the Lightning Network.

This 90-day trial period will include the measuring of the speed and cost of facilitating transactions using the new integration, and the amount of business that integrating Lightning brings to merchants.

After the pilot, Strike aims to enter the Clover app store and enable Lightning by default for all Clover merchants.

The trial period is now active and Clover merchants can reach out to Strike to enable cheaper, faster payments using the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
