MIC has released the Draft Law on Digital Technology Industry for public comments. The Draft Law regulates key contents on:

Digital technology industry activities and digital technology products and services
Promoting the development of the digital technology industry

The VBF, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, announced and called for members registration for joining our Policy Dialogue in HCMC, scheduled on 18 September 2024. Themed “Promoting green transition and developing high-tech industries”, this highly anticipated event will bring together leaders from the local government authorities across the Mekong Delta and Southeast Region, alongside members of the enterprise community.

In line with the 2024 Action Plan, ACAPR, in collaboration with the World Bank, has developed the report "Improving Business Regulations to Support Productivity Growth in Vietnam." This report evaluates the implementation of the 2020-2025 Program for Reducing and Simplifying Business Regulations under Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP.

LEGAL UPDATE

Guidance for the new 2024 Land Law taking effect on 1 August 2024. The Government has recently issued Decree No. 101/2024/ND-CP (“Decree 101”) on 29 July 2024. Decree 101 also officially came into force on 1 August 2024 in replacement of Decree No. 43/2014/ ND-CP (“Decree 43”). Decree 101 sets out regulations on basic land surveys; registration and grant of land use rights certificate, ownership of land-attached assets (“LURC”), and the Land Information System.
