BritCham in Favour of Extending 2% VAT Reduction Policy
BritCham in Favour of Extending 2% VAT Reduction Policy
During the pandemic period, many businesses has been hard-hit. We appreciate the timely and practical actions by the Government and National Assembly to help the economy and the business community overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic. In particular, Decree 15/2022/ND-CP (Decree 15) on guiding the implementation and reduction of value-added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax (CIT) supporting the country’s post-pandemic recovery which implements the National Assembly’s Resolution No 43/2022/QH15 on fiscal and monetary policies for the recovery of the economy from the pandemic.

To help businesses recover and grow sustainably, BritCham requests to the PM an extension of the two percent VAT reduction policy for an additional year. Please find the letter here.
