Workshop on UK Policy Impact Assessment Rating System
‘Increasing transparency and efficiency in policy making is very important in Vietnam, especially in the context of the global pandemic and fast technology development.’
British Ambassador Gareth Ward highlighted this at a workshop on 21 July in Hanoi, sharing UK’s experience on the Policy Impact Assessment (PIA) rating system. Applying this system not only improves quality of regulation but also elevates government efficiency and competitiveness.
The event also saw the participation of Mr. Nguyen Hong Tuyen – Director of the Ministry of Justice’s Department of General Affairs and Legislative Development as well as more than 70 Vietnamese government officials and regulatory reform experts from the UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) joining in virtually. |
