The event is honoured to have the attendance of H.E. Gareth Ward, British Ambassador to Vietnam, Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long, Director of the Department of Provincial Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong, Chairman of PVN, Mr. Ian Hatton, Founder and Chairman of Enterprize Energy and Mr. Denzel Eades, Managing Director of Pioneer International Consulting.
The energy sector plays an important role in Vietnam's continued development and growth. Access to reliable energy sources and continued project development will be key factors for sustainable economic growth and as the Government progresses with reform of the energy market. In turn transitioning from coal to clean energy sources will facilitate the achievement of greenhouse gas emission targets of the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The seminar will consider Resolution 55 and NPDP8; frameworks for LNG and renewable energy development; and opportunities for private sector and SOE collaboration in the LNG and renewable energy space.
