In May 2021, the G7 Group held the Foreign Ministers Meeting, marking the first face-to-face meeting in two years, in preparation for the online summit from June 11 to 13. Taking place in context of the global pandemic COVID-19 situation getting more complicated and the COVAX campaign in jeopardy due to lack of vaccines, the G7 Summit has taken discussion on narrowing the huge disparity between developed economies and the countries most in need in approaching the vaccination supplies. At the same time, the discussion also mentions the coordination to promote global economic recovery.

Let’s join the conversation with Mr. Christopher Jeffery - Chairman of British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

We invite you to watch the TGSK: "G7 chung tay đối phó thách thức". Broadcast at 9:15pm on Saturday, June 5, 2021, rebroadcast at 10am and 10pm on June 6, and on many different other time frames on SCTV8-VITV!

On 16th June, the British Embassy in Vietnam and BritCham Vietnam have successfully co-organised the webinar: UKVFTA – WHAT UK BUSINESS NEED TO KNOW?

It was pleasure to approximately 2000 online attendees on Zoom in a lovely Thursday’s afternoon.

The webinar was pleased to welcome the presence of key stakeholders from the two countries, public and private sector, having top discussions around the UKVFTA, including key commitments, opportunities for UK goods and services to trade in Vietnam. They also addressed some concerns from the audience including Vietnamese government's action plans to support UK businesses to utilise the agreement and other benefits for UK businesses besides tariff preferences.

We hope our participants found the webinar informative and meaningful and look forward to welcoming you in our upcoming events in the near future. Stay tuned for more information.
