2021 has been one of the most challenging years for the Vietnamese economy. According to VCCI and the World Bank, nearly 90% of FDI companies have been significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially SMEs or enterprises who have been in operation for less than 3 years.
To overcome the challenges caused by the pandemic, the Vietnamese Government has issued support packages to enable businesses to have as much help as possible to survive. The future though is positive, in 2022 the economy is expected to recover strongly and remain a strong candidate for investment from ASEAN and beyond.
In this light, BritCham Vietnam is delighted to organise an event in both HCMC and Hanoi to discuss the Vietnam 2022 Economic Outlook, the breakfast seminar will look at the challenges faced by business, both big and small, and what this means for future planning in 2022 and beyond. The seminar will also cover key legal updates in 2021 and what we might expect in 2022.
