A lick of truth: KFC abandons its classic slogan When you think of KFC, what are the first words that come to mind? If it’s not “eleven herbs and spices,” it’s “finger-lickin’ good.” But that classic slogan may finally be put to rest during the pandemic. As delicious as KFC chicken is, putting a finger in one’s mouth is an easy way to transmit germs — including the novel coronavirus. So for now, KFC is partially doing away with the slogan by blurring it out on chicken buckets, cups and bags. So instead of saying “Finger-lickin good,” the KFC packaging now says “It’s f***** ***** good!” I think KFC may have opened up a different can of worms.
