BRPD: Bully dead, man charged

with Kelly P. Kissel | Metro editor

Thanks for starting your day with us. Here are some of our top headlines:

BRPD says teen bully dies; man charged

Baton Rouge Police say a man took matters into his own hands when he shouldn't have. He's accused of killing a 14-year-old after reports that the boy had bullied one of his young relatives. James Finn has the story.

What did he know, and when?

State lawmakers say they want to know more about what Gov. John Bel Edwards knew regarding the death of motorist Ronald Greene. The Associated Press reported last week that State Police told Edwards within hours of Greene's in 2019 that there had been a "violent, lengthy struggle" with a driver. Here's the story.

Look familiar?

Joe Burrow will seek another championship in a couple weeks. Scott Rabalais has a look at Burrow's 2019 season at LSU and what he brought to the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2021 season.

We appreciate your support. Have a good day.
