👉 Ripple Inc: "XRP is not an investment in Ripple"

Ripple, the company behind popular cryptocurrency XRP, has recently been subject to a lawsuit claiming it failed to follow US securities law in distributing XRP tokens.

In a motion to dismiss the suit, Ripple Inc explained that a three year statute of repose had already expired (since the ICO). More interestingly, Ripple Inc explicity wrote that "Purchasing XRP is not an ‘investment’ in Ripple; there is no common enterprise between Ripple and XRP purchasers."

👉 Overstock CEO sells $90 million stake, buys crypto

Overstock is an American retailer that was launched in 1999 by Patrick Byrne. Just recently, Byrne, the acting CEO of the company, decided to sell off his $90 million stake in the company.

Byrne has announced that any proceeds from the liquidation, following taxes and additional fees, will be used to purchase counter-cyclical investments such as gold and cryptocurrency.

👉 EA publishes "invest in Crypto" Tweet

Electronic Arts, known in short as EA, is a well-known American video game company. One of its most recent games is Apex Legends, which was released earlier this year.

The company just published a Tweet telling followers to "invest in Crypto". "Crypto" is the name a new character that will be added to the Apex Legends game.
