Bitcoin is still trading within the $10,000 to $10,500 range, with an exact price of just over $10,200 following today's 1% drop. Ethereum is up 1% on the daily, while XRP is down 0.5%. As far as altcoins are concerned, there are no clear trends.

Both Binance Coin and Monero have suffered 3% price drops today.

👉 OKEx delists privacy coins following international guidelines

OKEx is a major Korean cryptocurrency exchange which has been based in Malta since 2018. Perhaps more importantly, the global anti-money laundering organization FATF introduced crypto guidelines which require exchanges to collect information about customers.

The Korean branch of OKEx has delisted five privacy coins, including Monero, DASH, and Zcash, following these guidelines. Last month, CEX.io made a similar move delisting Zcash and DASH.

👉 France and Germany agree to block Libra

Facebook's cryptocurrency, Libra, has come under significant fire ever since its announcement. In particular, the French government has been concerned about putting monetary power in the hands of a private company.

France and Germany have just agreed to block Libra, and will spearhead a movement to prevent the cryptocurrency being used within Europe.

👉 Santander announces success of $20 million blockchain bond

Recently, international bank Santander decided to run a $20 million trial of issuing bonds on the Ethereum blockchain.

Yesterday, Santander announced that the project had been a success. We'll likely see more tests, and perhaps bolder ones, from Santander and others into the future.
