Details of the Federal Reserve Bank's research on digital currencies have been shared this week, highlighting that it has been building and testing a variety of ledger platforms. They have, however, claimed that the research efforts do not necessarily demonstrate any intention of the Federal Reserve to adopt a digital currency. Coinbase has hired former Venmo executive Shilpa Dhar and former Adobe executive Ravi Byakod, who will lead the exchange's new "Platforms" team.
