Bitcoin price has recovered toward weekend highs, after a confusing two days of price action. Price rallied to almost touch $10,600, followed by a $400 dive - now re-testing the $10,600 mark.

Top-20 altcoins are a mixed bag over the last 24 hours of trading, as Ethereum and XRP fall 2% each, while Binance Coin and yearn.finance each rise over 5%.

👉 bZx Attacked For Third Time This Year, Loses $8M

Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol bZx has been hacked for the third time this year, this time losing $8 million in customer funds.

A flaw in the protocol's code allowed the attacker to duplicated his assets, resulting in large amounts of LINK, ETH, and stablecoins being stolen.

The bZx team halted the platform and fixed the bug as soon as they could, and have covered all losses with the project's insurance fund.

👉 Apple Blocks DeFi Features From Coinbase App

Apple has censored some of the featured in Coinbase's mobile app, specifically blocking access to DeFi applications.

Coinbase was told by Apple that it was not allowed to provide the ability to earn money using cryptocurrency via its app, nor provide access to DeFi services.

Apple have not responded to correspondence from Coinbase regarding the issue.

👉 Rapper TI Charged by SEC For 2017 ICO Promotion

American rapper TI has been charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for his promotion of a 2017 ICO without disclosing that he was paid for the endorsement.

He was fined $75,000, and has agreed to not participate in any further digital token sales for a minimum of five years.
