Top Stories for September 28, 2020 🔥 Singaporean-based cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin was hacked during the weekend, losing over $150 million worth of user funds. Several different types of coins were stolen in the hack, including BTC, USDT, LTC, XRP, ETH and a range of Ethereum-based tokens. Tether and many other exchanges and platforms have blacklisted the stolen tokens, while KuCoin claims that all losses will be covered by an insurace fund. Decentralized exchange Uniswap has become the very first decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol to reach $2 billion in total value locked - the amount of liquidity provided to the platform. This makes up almost 20% of all DeFi protocol value, with a significant proportion of liquidity coming from ETH, USDT and WBTC. "Big Four" accounting firm Ernst & Young (EY) has launched its very own on-chain data analysis tool, which they hope will make financial reporting for blockchain transactions more simple for users.
