Polkadot, a blockchain project in competition with Ethereum, has raised $43 million in a private token sale ending this week. The tokens were reportedly sold for $125 each, in a three-day sale spanning July 24-27. The sale raised almost 4,000 Bitcoin via more than 1,000 transactions. Polkadot is led by Gavin Wood, an Ethereum co-founder. A Chinese spin-off of Telegram's failed TON network has launched their own testnet and begun to airdrop tokens.
