The figure marks its highest weekly investment into Grayscale's cryptocurrency products to date. Curve launched its CRV token and governance platform ahead of schedule last week, following early deployment of their open-source smart contracts by an anonymous developer. Statistics have arisen showing that Bitcoin is being tokenized for use on the Ethereum network, at a faster pace than Bitcoins are currently being mined. According to the reported figures, 6,785 Bitcoins have been tokenized since August 9, with only 5,738 being mined in the same period. Wrapped Bitcoin, known by its ticker WBTC, is the primary means of tokenizing Bitcoin for Ethereum, accounting for 75% of all Ethereum-based Bitcoin tokens. |
