BitMEX has been accused of withdrawing $440M of exchange funds upon learning about the charges pressed against them by US regulators.

The court filing showed that the plaintiffs believe the funds were removed under the guise of profit distributions, but in reality aimed to make the funds "unavailable" for future judgments against the concerned funds.

BitMEX and its parent company HDR Global are pending charges of market manipulation and money laundering.

Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi has announced the launch of two new wrapped coins to run as tokens on Ethereum, HBSV and HLTC.

The Ethereum-compatible wrapped versions of Bitcoin SV and Litecoin will be compatible with the Ethereum decentralized finance (DeFi) world, joining Huobi's wrapped Bitcoin (HBTC) which already has $70m worth of tokens circulating.
