The Canadian Revenue Agency is attempting to force a handover of customer information from cryptocurrency exchange Coinsquare, via a court request. The agency is demanding records from as far back as 2013, in an effort to verify whether Coinsquare users have complied with tax reporting obligations. Cred, a U.S.-based cryptocurrency lending service, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, listing its assets at $50-$100 million and liabilities between $100-$500 million.
