Bitcoin price has yet again broken through recent highs, tapping the $19,000 mark for first time since all-time highs in 2017.

Top-20 altcoins have had a killer performance over the last 24 hours, as Stellar leads the way with a massive 47% surge, followed by XRP which rose 39%. Bitcoin Cash and Tron were also notable performers, gaining 19% and 17%, respectively.

👉 XRP Price Spikes to 90 Cents, Crashes 30% in Seconds

The price of XRP jumped to as high as 92 cents today on Coinbase, only to crash a whopping 30% just a matter of seconds later.

It appears that Coinbase users carried the rally, as highs on other major exchanges did not manage to break the 80 cent mark.

At the time of the volatility, some Coinbase traders reported that they were experiencing problems with the exchange, although the exchange's official status page said it was operating normally.

👉 Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract Reaches Launch Threshold

The Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract has reached its threshold of 524,288 ETH deposited, for the launch of the new network's "Phase 0" beacon chain.

A soft launch was planned for December 1, which was based on the target amount of ETH being deposited by November 24 (today). The target was successfully hit with just hours to spare.

👉 JPMorgan Reports Gold Outflows, While $1B Enters Grayscale

$1 billion poured into Grayscale cryptocurrency trusts during Q3, which JPMorgan has referred to as "striking" after reporting noticeable outflows from gold funds.

Gold has fallen about 10% since its peak above $2,000 earlier this year, with analysts predicting another 17% decline from current prices.
