The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has ordered crypto exchange Binance to halt all of its regulated activities in the UK, following a review of its operations.
Although the FCA doesn't regulate cryptocurrencies themselves, it does govern derivatives trading, which includes Binance's popular futures trading feature.
Binance has Tweeted that the FCA's notice only applies to part of its structure - Binance Markets Limited - and does not have a direct impact on services provided on Binance.com.
