A "CryptoPunk" NFT collectible has been listed for sale at $90.5 million – a possible new record sale if it is accepted by a buyer.
The listing has come directly after an anonymous buyer purchased a whopping 88 CryptoPunk NFTs at once, for a total of $5.5 million. The entire purchase was made within a single block.
CryptoPunks are one of the earliest NFT collections in history, consisting of a total of 10,000 pixelated face designs.
South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) is reported to be shutting down 11 local cryptocurrency exchanges, due to alleged illegal activity.
Anonymous sources argue that the exchanges will not be able to obtain FSC approval for operation, and that the agency has plans to implement stricter regulations for smaller exchanges within the country.
Digital payments company Square has reported a 200% increase in Bitcoin yearly revenue in its Q2 letter to shareholders, rising to $2.72 billion.
