👉 Bitcoin Network Hash Rate Posts Yet Another New All-Time High

The hash rate of the Bitcoin network has posted yet another all-time high, despite seeing struggling price action in recent weeks. In turn, mining difficulty has also increased by 5%.

The latest hash rate record – that is, the amount of computing power securing the Bitcoin blockchain – was recorded at 258 EH/s earlier today. The measurement marks a whopping 400% increase since China banned cryptocurrency mining last year.

👉 Company Issues "Pre-IPO" Security Tokens On European Digital Assets Exchange

HCS Pharma is offering blockchain-based "pre-IPO" tokens to investors on the European Digital Assets Exchange (EDSX), becoming the first non-crypto company to do so.

The crypto tokens represent a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE), which give token holders the right to a 20% discount on the listing price of the IPO proper.

👉 Dubai Luxury Real Estate Developer To Accept Crypto Payments

Dubai luxury real estate developer Damac will begin accepting payments in Bitcoin and Ethereum, according to a press release yesterday.

The move appears to be consistent with many companies believing that the United Arab Emirates will become a global crypto hub, with general manager of operations Ali Sajwani saying the move aims to "accelerate the new economy for newer generations".
