A survey has found that 98% of hedge fund CFOs around the world intend to invest 7.2% of their assets in cryptocurrencies by 2026. The survey was carried out by Intertrust Global, a global trust and corporate management firm.
The 7.2% percentage would equate to $312 billion if applied to the entire sector, with some of the CFOs projecting even higher percentages of up to 10%.
Coinbase Pro has listed Shiba Inu (SHIB), Chiliz (CHZ) and Keep Network (KEEP), leading to prices soaring for each of the assets.
Users can currently deposit each of the three cryptocurrencies into their accounts, with trading opening for them all at 9am Pacific Time.
Decentralized finance (DeFi) exchange dYdX has successfully closed a $65 million Series C funding round, led by Paradigm. The funds will be used to add new assets and features to the perpetual contracts section of the exchange.
The platform had already raised $10 million earlier this year, in a Series B round with contributions from Three Arrows Capital and DeFiance Capital.
