Coinbase's long-awaited non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace has launched in beta for select users, who will be able to buy or sell on the platform.
The marketplace will accept connection from any self-custody wallet, such as the Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask, and will be free of transaction fees for a limited time. Although only select users are allowed to transact on the platform, it is still viewable to all users.
More than 1.5 million users signed up to use Coinbase NFT since October, when the waitlist was first opened.
Australia launched its first Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) yesterday, as Cosmos Asset Management's ETF begins to offer Australians with hassle-free Bitcoin exposure.
