👉 PBoC Lays Out Further Anti Crypto Trading Measures

The People's Bank of China has published new measures it is taking against cryptocurrency trading in China, making fiat gateways illegal.

The document targets over the counter (OTC) services, which are offered across a wide range of cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, OKEx and Huobi.

Additionally, crypto derivatives trading has also been made illegal, including international exchanges offering services in China.

Social network Twitter is rolling out a Bitcoin tipping service for iOS app users, enabling users to send payments to other users using a Bitcoin or Lightning Network address.

Twitter has also announced an NFT verification feature, which could enable users to connect their cryptocurrency wallet and display their digital assets as their profile picture.

👉 ShapeShift Conduct Second Airdrop Of Its FOX Token To Users

Decentralized exchange ShapeShift has conducted a second airdrop of its native FOX token to users, which was distributed to more than 33,000 DAO community members.

The airdrop round – consisting of 6,613,000 FOX tokens – was a result of a proposal to extend the airdrop to the DAO users, submitted a little more than one week ago.
